OreKawa

I started watching dramas again and one of the recent dramas that I have watched is Yama-chan’s drama “Ore no Kawaii wa Mousugu Shohikigen!?”.

It’s a cliche type of drama but I really like it! Yama-chan’s cuteness and handsomeness really stands out in the drama and you will feel jealous you are not the female lead lol. He has a lot of expressions in this drama that I think he has not done it in a while. The role fits him so much ๐Ÿ˜†

The story is really simple and I like it a lot because of that. It doesn’t have any misunderstandings and it has a lot of fluffy moments โค๏ธ.

Yoshine Kyoko fits well with Yama-chan and I already ship them in the first episode ๐Ÿ˜‚. She’s really good in acting cold and doesn’t have emotions and you could see how her character develops in the drama.

I really recommend this drama if you just like to have something you need to watch for relaxing. I hope you’ll watch it too >.<

Hiyokko~

I am out of my lazy mode and began to watch new dramas instead of rewatching my favorite dramas lol. So after Okaeri Mone, I’m in the mood of watching another asadora since it is very refreshing watching those dramas and I want be stress free while watching dramas. I’m searching through twitter and wikis what asadora should I watch then I remembered Arimura Kasumi starred in asadora before. Then I searched it thru wiki, I already learned some info about the plot and would not stress myself thinking who will the heroine end up with or what will happen to the whole story. Yes, I’m the type of person who likes to look at the spoilers or plot to have less stress lol.

Anyway, I will not tell the story since you can really check it on wiki. What I like about this series is that if the Okaeri Mone is not stressful this is more non-stressful. The main conflict is sad but because of the whole ambiance of the drama you will not really mind it. The characters are easy going and they are all likeable. The series is very refreshing and some scenes can really make you laugh. Personally, I like the story flow of Okaeri Mone and I wish they also focus on the stories of the other characters but all in all I like the series, I finished all of it. Another thing, I got really hooked on the theme song called, Wakai Hiroba by Kuwata Keisuke and the song that they put when they’re talking about love, it is called Koi no Uta (ๆ‹ใฎใ†ใŸ) by Ota Hiromi. I just have to share this because I got really LSS on both songs. Check the preview of the song of Koi no Uta here if you’re curious because it is not on YT: HERE.

If you’re new to asadora, I recommend to watch this series as for what I have watched it is the most less stressful and I think you’ll cry less (I smiled or laugh most of the times ๐Ÿ˜…). It also has special season released on 2019, so bonus in watching!

I’m really into jdramas again so maybe I’ll write another review. Thanks for reading ๐Ÿ˜€

Okaeri Mone

*May contain Spoilers. Sorry about that ๐Ÿ˜…*

After many months procrastinating in watching JDrama, I started watching again and this time it’s Asadora. My sister and I watch this when she saw previews of the drama from twitter fans and eventually I got addicted to watching it and continuously watched it until the latest episode. I’ll not tell the story of the drama since you can just search it on asianwiki or google so I’ll just write what I think of it lol.

I like the Mone the heroine of this drama because she is just curious on a lot of things and like all the millennials that have the same problem right now at first she is lost on what she should do with her life. Well, maybe because of her bad experience that she had that thought unlike other millennials but we can still relate to her character on how she found her strong point and eventually overcome her problems.

The drama also tackles the hardships in overcoming the tragedies in life and how eventually with ‘time’ it will heal. It recognizes that even though how many years has passed it doesn’t mean you will be completely healed with the trauma or tragedy that you experience but you will learn how to live with it and eventually realize how to stand up again. Life is really hard especially at times that you will experience unexpected things and I can’t really say that I can relate to it but I am very proud to the people who has the tenacity and drive to move again. With this drama, I really hope people will learn how to heal and live life to the fullest.

*SPOILERS* Of course I like the SugaMone! They are probably the first reason I watched this hehe. I really like their interactions especially Suganami sensei, how blunt he is with Mone. I actually doubt if Sakaguchi Kentaro and Kiyohara have chemistry at first because of their age difference but theyโ€™re really great actors and I came to love them because of it. I became a fan of Sakaguchi Kentaro because of this drama and want to watch his other projects.

Well that’s it, I really like asadora because of how refreshing it is to watch even though the topics are a bit heavy. I’ll post again if I have the energy to post ๐Ÿ˜

Hospital Playlist season 1

Hi! It has been a while! I am not totally back writing stuffs just want to share my favorite k-drama that I discovered last year, story of life of doctors, Hospital Playlist! I was late in knowing this drama because when I started watching this it already ended but I got excited knowing there will be a season 2!

What I like about this drama is that it is not draggy, it doesn’t involve a lot of drama and it is about just the life of the five main characters. It doesn’t create unnecessary plot twists or irritating antagonists, the drama just stayed true to its purpose and that is giving the audience a view of the life of doctors.

The story is about 5 best friends, they are all doctors and they’ve known each other since college. While they are all in different specializations they all excel at it and because of a situation they ended up being in the same hospital and spend time together as a band after work that they used to do when they were in college. This is how the story revolves, we see them have different patients each episodes, how they try to save and treat their patients. We also see them outside of work when they eat together and spend time talking about their patients or personal lives. Their chemistry with each other is very nice, kind of how the Friends’ cast chemistry is like, their friendly banter when they are out eating is my favorite parts when re-watching the series.

I really recommend this drama to everyone who likes medical drama or wants to watch a drama that is just like Friends. I have re-watched this drama too many times and it still my favorite k-drama and I think no k-drama can top this in my list.

After season 1, please watch hospital playlist season 2, it is currently airing and it is available on Netflix! Thanks for reading and I really hope you’ll enjoy it!

Kore wa Keihi de Ochimasen

I am on jdramas recently because work life is really messy right now. I found this drama when I’m interested in watching Johnny’s talents dramas and it became my favorite.

For the summary of the drama, the heroine Moriwaka Sanako (Tabe Mikako) works as an accountant at a soap company and the drama focuses on her way of checking each finances and correcting the employees of the company in spending and budgeting the company’s money. I liked how her character may seem like a robot at first for being strict but eventually you’ll see her cute side and how she’s also affected by her co-workers judgement of her.

The drama is also light-hearted  and includes slight comedy on the reactions of her co-workers which I really like. This drama also made me a fan and have a crush on Shigeoka Daiki, since I really like his Yamada Taiyo’s character for his ways for making Sanako-san like him and his relationship to Sanako. His smile is also affects me and he is really a sunshine in this drama.

I really recommend this drama ๐Ÿ™‚

Natsuzora

My first asadora drama and I really like it. I first watched because of Hirose Suzu but I came to like all characters and story in it. I don’t have a lot of expectation in it at first because it’s my first asadora that is why I’m surprised how good the drama delivered. I like how the heroine overcame a lot of struggles and they also emphasized that her family is one of the reasons she overcome it. When she has to make a tough decision, she really think carefully and have an introspect in her life. I haven’t finished the whole drama though and left it in the middle since it is not yet finished when I watch it. This drama is perfect in this quarantine period because it not stressful and we’re in the middle of time where everything is frustrating and need to have a little bit of breather.

I began to like the other actors here especially Yoshizawa Ryo and because of that I’ll watch his other dramas too because his acting is very amazing in this. All in all, even though I haven’t finished it yet this drama is recommendable to everyone and I might watched another asadora because of the slice of life feel of it.

DRAMA RECOMMEND!

This new drama of Yoshitaka Yuriko is what I’m following right now.

It is about Yuriko’s character, Yui that wants to always leaves at the end of a regular work day on time and the type of person who will not take overtime. Her character has a productive work ethic and she spends her day-offs and mandatory leaves well enough but when their department gets a new boss things became different and her balance lifestyle gets affected too. Every episode in the series is about the characters knowing the importance of a balance work style at the same time having a productive work ethic and Yui is the one that introduces them or tells them about this.

I like how the series teach the values that life is not all about work and that every employee has also personal things outside work that they need to take care of. They also approach the importance of taking a rest and not overwork so that their health will not get affected. Not only their physical health but mental health too as overworking leads to stress. The drama also has Yui being engaged and how she and her fiance cope up with it. Also, her ex-fiance in the drama is Mukai Osamu so I really look forward if they will just be friends or end up together at the end.

I really enjoyed the series and well as of now it isn’t fully subbed yet but I have seen the raw of the last episode and it seems interesting. I would like to look for another drama that is like this and not fully on romance story. Right now, I’m also watching Natsuzora and I’m enjoying it too.

Kahogo no Kahoko

kahogo_no_kahoko-p01

Honestly, I’ve watched this drama months ago, I’m just too lazy and too busy to make any reviews but since I missed writing, I’ll make a review of the drama the became my favorite in 2017.

Kahogo no Kahoko’s story is a little bit different in princess-type character and even though you can’see that the character is a spoiled person but they made the story in a way that you will still love the character since she is super adorable.

Kahogo no Kahoko is a coming-of-age like drama but the character is a little bit late in the “independent” sense since she is spoiled by her motherย  and missed learning simple things such as doing chores or working hard to do things and in every episode you will see that her character will start to learn new things that she will like and will grow to be more independent and have more decisions to herself. The drama shows if parents became so overprotective and will not let their children grow on their own they will not survive in the society (since Kahoko is applying for a job but she’s been rejected by a lot of companies). This will not help them learn and they will not know the struggles and hard work when you face the reality of life (deep!).

Anyway, this drama is A++ for me since it has everything that I liked, stories about their family, the problems of both sides of Kahoko’s family, how she find herself to be independent and how she is taught to find herself with Hajime-kun (her became-friend/significant other in the series) and that she can learn all things with proper guidance.

This is a well recommended drama for me and I hope you guys will like it too!

P.S: the ending is a little bit different to what I expected but in any case it brings closure (I guess) to the problems they have. Hope you like the ending!

NigeHaji

we_married_as_job-p1

If you don’t know there’s a drama in the Autumn Drama 2016 thatย became popular even their dance at the end became a popular dance in Japan. A lot of people are watching it and because of that I became interested in it. It’sย Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu

It is a sweet romance drama that started in a business relationship. Mikuri (Aragaki Yui) is someone who studied psychology thus know how social relationship works while her employer Hiramasa (Hoshino Gen) is a bachelor who believes he doesn’t need a relationship thus clueless in how a relationship works. Their love story starts in a business relationship that gradually becomes real love then they start to discover how their love works. Mikuri and Hiramasa got married because of one purpose and that is where they will cohabit in terms of business relationship. This drama is about love, work and relationships with people and that what makes this drama different because it is simple but complicated in a way how the main characters work.

I don’t really want to get into much about the story because I really recommend watching this drama because not only this has romance in it, it’s also funny because the comedic sense the staff and director put into it. Gakky and Hoshino Gen looks so cute too and they have such a nice chemistry.

The dance craze in their ending theme is really cute too. Take a look at this and try dancing it too:

This drama is so cute that it is very popular in Japan and Hoshino Gen, the main actor, is invited to other music shows. Other artists, actors and actresses know the drama too so this drama is recommendable to anyone who likes to watch J-Drama.

Watch it now please and let’s dance the Koi Dance!

Proofreading – Jimi ni Sugoi!

pretty_proofreader-p2

When Suki na Hito ga Iru Koto finished I was looking for another drama to watch and looking at the upcoming autumn dramas I’m interested in watching Jimi ni Sugoi because of Ishihara Satomi then I saw she will be paired with Suda Masaki that I got really interested in watching it. There are also some Arashi fans who are excited to watch the drama and that also became a reason for me to watch it. And I like the drama because of how the characters are played and how they put a comedic element in it.

Jimi ni Sugoi is work/slice-of-life drama that focuses on the works of proofreading and fashion especially since the main character is interested to become a fashion editor. I’m the type of person who is not that interested in fashion but I like to dress nicely base on my own style and looking at the main character Kono Etsuko you can see that her outfits is really cute and her style is really fashionable.ย The drama focuses on how Kono Etsuko make proofreading classy, entertaining and interesting job. It focuses that how much plain your job is if you work hard to not make it all serious you can really enjoy it. In the drama even though she didn’t get her dream job she still enjoys being a proofreader because she makes it fun and she didn’t get depressed but work hard to correct any mistakes in the article or anything that she needs to do in her job.

I also like Orihara Yukito played by Suda Masaki and I like that he has a chemistry with Ishihara Satomi. Every episode that I watch I look forward on how Yukito and Etsuko’s relationship progress. The relationship between the characters make the drama interesting too. Like the editor and proofreader’s relationship, Etsuko and Kaizuka-san/Tako and their ongoing bantering is what I also like in the drama. The senpai-kouhai relationship she has with Tsubasa Honda’s character Morio. Her kouhai’s impression of her having a loose tongue is seen in a negative way but with character development they became close and Morio starts to work hard and like her job even more because of her senpai. The character development also makes the story interesting which gives each episode different element.

I just felt that in the last episode it’s a little bit off because I expected some development in Etsuko and Yukito’s relationship and how Etsuko’s editor dream is portrayed in the ending. It feels a little bit short on how they made the ending. In anyway, it is still a good series and watching it is fun and will be a little bit curious on what is going to happen next.

I still like how Ecchan became a proofreader: “Kono Etsuko – in short ‘Koetsu’ meaning Proofreading. It is like meant to be.”
